Lake Crest News – February 2019

Hi Neighbors,

Hello, I am David Walls, your new board president. My wife Terri and I have lived in Lake Crest for over 12 years. We love living here and I look forward to serving the residents and making this the best community in the city of Hoover.

As your board, we believe strongly in setting goals, identifying needs and working to meet those needs. Our main goals for 2019 are:

1. Keeping our community safe

2. Being fiscally responsible while maintaining our neighborhood values

3. Making Lake Crest a fun place to live

In accordance to these goals, your board has already completed many tasks. These include: installing a bridge at the lower end of the lake, painting the clubhouse, updating the landscaping in front of the clubhouse, improving the lighting at the flagpole, investing in new clubhouse chairs, pressure washing all community entrance signs, improving the lighting in front of our entrance signs, and updated landscaping at the Clubhouse sign. Other improvements are planned, so be on the lookout for more improvements this spring.

With warmer weather fast approaching, we are excited to announce the return of monthly food trucks at the clubhouse. Be looking for dates, we are hoping for a March kick off. The pool will be reopening in May and we will announce the date of the annual pool kickoff party soon!

Here’s to an end of this ugly weather and a quick return to sunshine. Let’s all work together to make this the best year yet!

I hope to see many of you at the next HOA meeting on April 9, 2019 at 7 PM.
